Thanks
I just wanted to take a minute and thank all of you for your support. I am happy to report that I am on the long road to recovery. Everything is going according to schedule. I have been able to start doing some light workouts again. I will be back to it in no time. In the mean time I am really looking foward to following two races in June. The RAAM and Western States. Good luck to all the racers and thanks again for the continued support.

ReplyDeleteHey Goggins...glad to hear you are doing well. Looking forward to seeing what you can do now that your ticker is fixed. I'm running my first marathon in January to raise money for SOWF and Children's Heart Foundation (congenital heart defect research). If you have any supporters looking for a place to donate, send them my way! Like I said, glad to hear you are doing well....You've been a huge inspiration.
ReplyDeleteGreat news David!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes as you continue to recover.
With aloha.

If you're not doing anything this weekend, why not head out to the San Diego 100 and cheer on the runners? I'm pacing this year and will run it next year.

David - Get over that wall today. I know you will. Make today a great day. You're alive, repaired, and hard as a rock. The opportunity to rebuild and recover is exciting, and I know you'll crush it. In addition to the money you raise, your attitude drives more people than you can imagine. Go get em.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
I love you daddy! Get better. I will see you soon.
ReplyDeleteLove you,
Jade

Mr.Goggins my name is Luke and I am an aspiring SEAL... The only problem is that I'm not very comfortable in the water. Running I can take, I climb, camp, and live adversely but the water has always been a weakness for me.. Unfortunately being comfortable in the water is clearly CRUCIAL to becoming a SEAL. I'm going into my junior year of high school and doing Don Shipley's extreme SEAL experience course next year.. But any words of advice would be GREATLY appreciated and I would be honored.. I just finished reading the little paragraph in Outside magazine you did. Thanks, if you want to e-mail me you can at climbpotato@aol.com.
